Noveda Technologies Joins Edison Electric Institute

03/21/2012

Noveda Technologies, the leader in web-based real-time energy and water monitoring, has become an Associate Member of the Edison Electric Institute, the association of U.S. shareholder-owned electric companies.

Noveda’s decision to become an associate member was based on its interest in dialogue with the energy community on better ways to manage resources at every user level. EEI provides a broad forum for policy leadership, data management, business intelligence, and a range of energy-related products and services, as well as representing the interests of its members in areas of regulation and legislation.

“We are pleased to be associated with another leading voice in the national energy discussion like EEI,” said CEO Govi Rao. “Along with our recent patent approvals and increasing flexibility in our monitoring applications, joining the EEI will provide us with a strong platform for continuing to meet our customers’ needs.”

EEI’s member companies now represent almost three quarters of the nation’s overall electrical industry. In addition to these provider companies, associate members represent a number of firms which provide goods and services to the electric industry, while not directly involved in generation, transmission or distribution of electricity.
